BioI've been playing with yarn since my grandmother first taught me to crochet when I was a little girl. It took me years to actually become any good at crochet so I picked up knitting and switch between the two all the time now.
I am also a life-long science fiction nut with a passion for storytelling and host a few different shows in those themes on my podcast: KnitWitch's Scifi/Fantasy Zone. Some of my scifi & fantasy favorites right now include:
TV - Battlestar Galactica, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Stargate Atlantis

My husband and I have been together for over eighteen years and enjoy gardening, fishing, ice fishing, singing, playing music, gaming, biking, skating and just living life with our two kids.
